One step closer to the THz sensor design

RECENDT started to develop, in collaboration with RISE and PODCOMP, a THz sensor to measure moisture in bio-based panels used in outdoor applications.

The first samples provided by RISE have been inspected with Terahertz radiation to evaluate their moisture content at different steps of a moisturising and drying process.

This first proof-of-principle measurement was not only successful but also gave access to information relevant to the design of the future moisture sensor.
